  • SILLERY GAON : Cradled at an elevation of 6,000 feet in the Kalimpong subdivision of the Darjeeling hills, Sillery Gaon is nature’s poetry written in pine and mist. Often referred to as the “New Darjeeling”, this enchanting hamlet is wrapped in towering pine forests and serenaded by the gentle chorus of birdsong—a place where serenity whispers through every breeze. With only 25 to 30 families calling it home, Sillery Gaon remains untouched by urban chaos. Life here moves to the rhythm of nature, and though agriculture remains the traditional livelihood, the villagers have gracefully transitioned into eco-tourism, sharing their peaceful paradise with those seeking solace in the hills. What makes Sillery Gaon truly magical is its breathtaking panorama—an unbroken 180-degree canvas of the Himalayas. On a clear day, one can gaze westward toward Nepal, north and east to the majestic ridges of Sikkim, and south to the lush expanse of Bengal. And then there’s Mount Kanchenjunga, reigning silently in the horizon, painting the sky with gold at sunrise. Whether you're watching the first light break over the peaks from Ramitey View Point, taking a quiet forest trail, or simply sipping tea while clouds drift by your window, Sillery Gaon offers a rare blend of raw beauty and soulful calm—making it a true gem of the Eastern Himalayas.
  • ARITAR :- Nestled in the Rongli subdivision of East Sikkim, Aritar is a quiet Himalayan village that seems lovingly sculpted by nature itself. Far from the crowds and chaos, this serene destination is a sanctuary of lush forests, rolling hills, pristine rivers, and tranquil mountain vistas. It’s a place where time slows, and every glance is a postcard come to life. The crown jewel of Aritar is the tranquil Lampokhari Lake, also known as Aritar Lake or Ghati Tso. Cradled amidst emerald green woods and surrounded by prayer flags fluttering in the mountain breeze, this historic lake—one of the oldest natural lakes in Sikkim—invites moments of stillness and reflection. Boating in its placid waters while gazing up at the surrounding hills is a soul-soothing experience. The landscape here is a vibrant tapestry: terraced fields step gracefully down the mountain slopes, waterfalls sparkle unexpectedly from forested ridges, and winding paths lead to sweeping viewpoints revealing the majestic Khangchendzonga range in all its glory. The sheer grandeur and serenity of Aritar leave a lasting impression, etching unforgettable memories in the heart of every traveler. Whether you're seeking quiet contemplation, nature photography, or a refreshing mountain escape, Aritar welcomes you with open arms and a timeless charm.
  • ZULUK :- Perched at an altitude of around 10,000 feet in East Sikkim, Zuluk (also spelled Dzuluk or Jhuluk) is a mesmerizing mountain hamlet that once echoed with the footsteps of silk traders journeying along the historic Old Silk Route. Today, it stands as one of the most captivating offbeat destinations in Sikkim—where nature, history, and Himalayan grandeur meet in perfect harmony. Zuluk is renowned for its jaw-dropping Zig-Zag Road, a spiraling marvel of over 30 sharp hairpin bends carved into the mountain slopes, offering panoramic views that seem straight out of a dream. As you ascend, each turn reveals a new perspective—verdant valleys, distant monasteries, fluttering prayer flags, and, on a clear day, the glorious Kanchenjunga range shimmering in the horizon. In summer, the hillsides come alive with a riot of wildflowers, painting the terrain in shades of pink, yellow, and violet. In winter, Zuluk transforms into a magical white world, where snow blankets the village and silence reigns supreme, broken only by the whispering wind and crunch of snow underfoot. Surrounded by alpine forests, ancient military bunkers, and windswept ridges, Zuluk offers not just natural beauty, but a brush with history and an invitation to explore one of Sikkim’s most untouched terrains. Whether you're watching the sunrise from Thambi View Point, marveling at the glacial Kupup Lake, or tracing the ancient trade path toward Baba Mandir, Zuluk promises an unforgettable journey to the heart of the Himalayas.
  • RESHIKHOLA : Tucked away on the tranquil border of Sikkim and West Bengal, Reshikhola (also spelled Rishikhola or Reshi Khola) is a hidden gem where time seems to slow down. Named after the crystal-clear Reshi River (with “Khola” meaning river in Nepali), this serene hamlet is an ideal getaway for nature lovers, bird watchers, and peace seekers. Surrounded by lush green hills, pine forests, and misty mountain air, Reshikhola offers a perfect break from the chaos of city life. The river, flowing gently over smooth stones and under rustic suspension bridges, invites visitors to dip their feet, go angling, or simply sit by its banks listening to the soothing sound of flowing water. What makes Reshikhola truly special is its simplicity—no crowds, no honking vehicles, just the melodies of birds, rustling leaves, and warm hospitality of the locals. Accommodations here are typically eco-resorts or riverside homestays, offering basic comforts with rich natural charm. Evenings are best enjoyed with a bonfire by the river and a traditional home-cooked meal under the stars. Whether you’re winding down after a Silk Route adventure or simply looking for a peaceful weekend retreat, Reshikhola offers a soul-refreshing experience in the lap of pristine Himalayan nature.
